The Mobile Police Department wants everyone to have a safe Fourth of July Weekend

• Secure important belongings inside of vehicles and out of view at events.
• While at the event you should place an identity card in your child's pocket in the event they become separated from you. The card should provide the name of the child, address, telephone contact numbers and the name of a relative.
• Adults are encouraged to establish a post-event meeting place for family and friends in case you become separated.
• Wear light clothing, comfortable shoes, sunglasses, and sunscreen or a hat.
• Drink lots of fluids to stay hydrated.
• If swimming follow all water safety rules.
• While traveling obey all traffic laws.
• Firing firearms and fireworks are illegal
• As an alternative all citizens are welcome to attend the City of Mobile July 4th Holiday annual fireworks display at Battleship Park.
• Don't drink and drive
• Obey all laws.
