Mobile Police Investigate a Homicide at Butler Street and Warsaw Avenue

On January 3, 2011 at 7:28 p.m. Mobile Police received a call at the intersection of Butler Street and Warsaw Avenue for a report of a man down. Upon the officers' arrival, they found a man lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds. Mobile Fire Rescue responded and the man was pronounced dead on the scene.

Preliminary results of the investigation reveal the deceased man has been identified as 33 year old Fredrick Martin of Mobile.
