Mobile Police Investigate a Homicide (Correction)

On July 15, 2012 at 9:27 p.m. Mobile Police Department responded to 700 Navco Road for a report of one shot. Upon arrival, officers found 25 year-old Kendrick Files with an apparent gunshot wound to his head. The victim was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

On July 17, 2012 Mobile Police released a statement stating the victim had died at the hospital, however detectives have been notified that the victim is currently being held on life support pending organ donation.
