Mobile Police Investigate a Homicide on Brazier Drive

On October 8, 2011 at approximately 12:45 a.m. Mobile Police responded to the 400 block of Brazier Drive for a report of a male shot. Upon arrival, officers found an adult male with an apparent gunshot wound to his right leg. Mobile Fire Rescue transported the victim to the University of South Alabama Medical Center where he later died from his injuries.

The preliminary investigation revealed the deceased male has been identified as 24 year old Marion Antwan Miller. Detectives have determined that Miller was in an ongoing dispute with a man, and Miller had forced entry into the man's residence. The male subject produced a handgun and shot Miller in the leg.
