Mobile Police Investigate a Homicide on Brooke Avenue

On June 24, 2013 at 3:45, p.m. officers responded to the 1300 block of Brooke Avenue for a report of a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, officers found 19 year old Wearby Caulton Jr. with a large cut to his neck. Caulton was transported to the University of South Alabama Medical Center where he later died.

Officers apprehend 36 year-old Ahmed Bryant and he was originally charged with Attempt Murder. The charges have now been upgraded to Murder.

Detectives will continue the investigation. Anyone with information should call the Mobile Police Department at 208-7211.
