Mobile Police Investigate a Homicide on Shelton Beach Extension

On January 25, 2012 Mobile Police responded to 1900 Shelton Beach Road Extension for a report that an adult male had been shot. Upon arrival, officers found that 33 year-old Jemarcus Casher had multiple gunshot wounds to his chest. Casher was transported to the University of South Alabama Medical Center where he later died from his injuries.

The investigation reveals the incident is the result of a domestic dispute. Detectives have presented the evidence to the District Attorneys Office and the case will be presented to the Grand Jury.
