Mobile Police Investigate a Homicide on University Blvd

On January 12, 2012 at 4:30 a.m. Mobile Police responded to the 400 block of North University Boulevard for a report of a man lying in the carport of a residence. Mobile Fire Rescue responded and the victim was pronounced dead on the scene.

Preliminary results of the investigation reveal the victim has been identified as 25 year old Andrew Levi Saxon, and he was found with an apparent gunshot wound to his chest.
