Mobile Police Investigate a Traffic Fatality

On October 25, 2011 at 1:15 a.m. Mobile Police responded to McVay Drive and Goodman Avenue for a report of a male struck by a vehicle. Upon arrival, officers discovered 22-year-old Tim Van Neuyen had been struck by a vehicle in the roadway, and the vehicle left the scene before the officers arrived.

Detectives have received information from the scene that a four door large white vehicle may have struck the victim and the vehicle should have front end damage. The vehicle was last seen driving north on McVay Drive.
