On January 27, 2013 Mobile Police responded to I- 65 North near the Government Street overpass for a report of a traffic crash with injuries. Upon arrival, officers located four vehicles involved in the crash. Mobile Fire Rescue responded and 53 year old Julie Anne Huffman was pronounced dead on the scene. An adult male and a second adult female were transported to the University of South Alabama with serious injuries.
