Mobile Police Investigate a Traffic Fatality

On May 23, 2012 at approximately 12:50 a.m., Mobile Police responded to Shelton Beach and Bear Fork Roads for a report of one struck by a vehicle.

Upon arrival, officers found the victim, 19 year-old Jeffrey Brown, had been struck by an unknown vehicle while in the lane of travel on Shelton Beach Road. Brown was pronounced dead on the scene.

Traffic Homicide Detectives will continue the investigation. Mobile Police ask if anyone has information about the incident, please call the Mobile Police Department at 208-7211, Crime Stoppers at 208-7000 or text to CRIMES (274637) and include the keyword CRIME 411.
