Mobile Police Investigate a Traffic Fatality on I-65

On September 30, 2010 at approximately 10:20 p.m., Mobile Police responded to a single vehicle wreck with injuries on I-65 south at the I-10 overpass to east bound I-10. Upon the officer's arrival, they discovered a 2006 Chrysler Sebring on the right side of the roadway that had flipped and landed on its roof. The Mobile Fire Department responded and the driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead on the scene.

Preliminary finding of the investigation reveal the driver has been identified as 32 year old Metrelle Richardson from Mobile. Richardson appears to have lost control of the vehicle while traveling south on I-65, and struck the left side wall flipping the vehicle.
