Mobile Police Investigate Drowning on Dog River

On Monday, September 3, 2012, at approximately 8:00 p.m., Mobile Police and several local agencies were dispatched to a report of a boating accident at Navco Park on Dog River Drive. At the scene, it was determined two males were riding a jet ski when it overturned suddenly, throwing both passengers into the water. Neither passenger was wearing a life jacket.

On Tuesday, September 4, 2012, at approximately 4:00 a.m., the joint efforts of agencies were able to recover the bodies of the passengers: 24 year-old Christopher Williams and 20 year-old Montrell Marks.

This case is being investigated by the Mobile Police Department's Homicide Unit.
