Mobile Police Investigate Homicide on Brazier Drive

On November 10, 2013, at approximately 9:55 p.m., Mobile Police were dispatched to the 1700 block of Brazier Drive West for the report of shots fired and possibly one shot. On arrival, officers found 21 year-old Bill Lamond Hopkins had suffered a gunshot wound to the head. Hopkins was pronounced dead on the scene.

A short time later, a 22 year-old male victim was located inside one of the apartments, suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. That victim was transported to USA Medical Center by Mobile Fire Medics for treatment for a non life-threatening injury.

Over the course of the investigation, officers discovered a 20 year-old male victim had been transported by personal vehicle to USA Medical Center with a non life-threatening gunshot wound to the arm.
