Mobile Police Investigate Pollard Lane Homicide

On April 27, 2015, at approximately 8:00 p.m., Mobile Police responded to a report of one shot in the 2600 block of Pollard Lane. Upon arrival, officers found a 32 year-old female suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Mobile Fire Rescue responded and pronounced the victim deceased. A second victim, a 28 year old female was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Detectives are detaining a male subject for questioning.

The victim's name will be released pending family notification.
