On September 28, 2013, at approximately 5:35 p.m., Mobile Police responded to a traffic crash with injuries on Highway 90 and Coca Cola Road. The victim, 31 year-old Christopher Smith of Theodore, was traveling east on Highway 90 on a motorcycle at a high rate of speed. A vehicle with two passengers made a left turn from west bound Highway 90. The motorcycle struck the pickup truck and Smith was thrown from the motorcycle. Smith was pronounced dead on scene. Both passengers of the other vehicle were transported to hospitals for non life-threatening injuries.
