Mobile Police Investigate Traffic Fatality

On November 5, 2013, at approximately 5:15 p.m., Mobile Police responded to Spring Hill Avenue between Ann and Michael Donald Streets for a report of one struck. It was determined an adult male was attempting to cross Spring Hill Avenue on his bicycle from the north side of the street when he was struck by a vehicle traveling westbound.

The victim was transported to University of South Alabama Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the vehicle was not injured and charges are not pending.

Mobile Police will continue the investigation.
