Mobile Police Investigate Traffic Fatality at Beverly Motel

On Friday July 2, 2010 at 5:12 PM Mobile Police responded to the Beverly Motel located at 4384 Highway 90 in reference a fourteen month year old male toddler, that was struck by a 2000 GMC Yukon. The vehicle was driven by a thirty-nine year old male who was backing out of a parking space and struck the toddler. The toddler was transported to USA Medical Center by Mobile Fire Rescue, where the toddler succumb to his injuries. The Preliminary Investigation shows that alcohol, drugs and or speed was not a factor in this case.
