Mobile Police Investigating Homicide in the 6000 Block of Grelot Road

On Friday, November 20, 2015, at approximately 1:26 a.m. officers responded to Ashford Place Apartments located at 6075 Grelot Road for a report of Shots Fired inside an Apartment. Upon arrival, officers located a 22 year old female down inside an apartment suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Mobile Fire Rescue responded and pronounced the victim deceased.

As officers were canvasing the area, they located arrested male subject, 23 year old Nicholas Jones. Early investigation revealed Jones and the victim were in a dating relationship. Jones is being charged with Murder and transported to Mobile County Metro Jail.
