Mobile Police Investigating Popeye’s Chicken Homicide

On Tuesday, February 9, 2016, at approximately 7:27 p.m. officers responded to the area of Conti Street at Scott Street for a report of Shots Fired. Officers located 15-year-old Amir Parker in the rear parking lot of Popeyes Chicken located at 750 Government Street, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Mobile Fire-Rescue transported Parker to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.
