Mobile Police Investigating School Threats

Feb 23rd, 2018

The Mobile Police Department has been investigating each of the perceived threats targeting Baker High School, Davidson High School and Theodore High School.

Investigators have determined that a threat circulating on social media with the “BHS” name is actually a repost from a high school in New Mexico. Again, it is not from Baker High School or any school in Mobile County.

Threats made concerning Davidson High School and Theodore High School are also under investigation. No credible danger has been uncovered at this juncture. In an abundance of caution, the Mobile Police Department has assigned patrol officers to Davidson High School and Theodore High School today (Friday, Feb. 23), and they will join in all of the other efforts already underway to ensure our students, teachers, and citizens are safe.
