Mobile Police Make Arrest in Burglaries, Sexual Assaults

Mobile Police arrested 19 year-old Dennis Loper, II and charged him with three counts of Burglary Second Degree, Attempted Burglary Second Degree, Sexual Abuse First Degree and Sexual Abuse of a Child Under the Age of 12.

In January 2014, Loper unlawfully entered a residence and made sexual contact with a juvenile female. The suspect fled when the victim woke up. On the same night, Loper entered a nearby house and fled after being confronted by the homeowner.

On August 12, 2014, Loper unlawfully entered a home and made sexual contact with a female victim. The suspect fled the scene when the victim woke up.

On August 28, 2014, Loper was identified as the subject involved in these crimes when he was captured on surveillance video trying to gain entry into a residence he previously burglarized. Loper was located, arrested and charged in relation to these cases.
