Mobile Police Make Arrest on Crenshaw Street Manslaughter

On Wednesday, October 2, 2013, at approximately 9:45 p.m., Mobile Police responded to the 400 block of Crenshaw Street to investigate a report of one stabbed. On scene, police learned the victim had been transported to U. S. A. Medical Center by private vehicle. Kevin Lee Hall, 24 years old, suffered a life-threatening stab wound and was later pronounced dead.

Investigation revealed Hall and 23 year-old Leevaughn Pettway, Jr., who was known to Hall, were involved in an altercation which resulted in the life-threatening injury. Pettway was arrested and charged with Manslaughter in this case.
