Mobile Police Respond to an Assault / Barricaded Subject

On Sunday, February 08, 2015, at approximately 1:50 p.m. officers responded to the 2500 block of Fairway Drive for a report of One Shot. The suspect, 20 year old Brandon Davis, shot the 35 year old male victim in the face and both arms. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he is listed in stable condition.

Upon patrol arrival, Davis began shooting at them before briefly taking a hostage. After releasing the hostage Davis barricaded himself inside a residence. After failed attempts to get Davis to surrender members of the Tac Unit deployed multiple rounds of gas inside the residence. Upon making entry into the residence Davis was found deceased.

Mobile Police will continue the investigation.
