Mobile Police Robbery Unit Make Arrests on Food Mart Robbery

On March 16, 2015, at approximately 11:30 p.m., three unknown male subjects entered Stadium Food Mart located at 1301 Virginia Street. The suspects, two of which were armed with guns, demanded money from the register. The cashier complied and the suspects took U. S. currency, cigarettes and cigars.

Through the course of the investigation, two suspects were identified as having taken part in this robbery. On March 17, Mobile Police robbery detectives located these suspects, Paul Dukes and Quintell Winchester, both 19 years old. Winchester ran from police in an effort to avoid apprehension but was taken into custody a short time later by officers.

Dukes and Winchester were each charged with Robbery First Degree. Winchester was also charged with Failure to Obey and Attempting to Elude Police.
