Mobile Police Scheduled to Conduct DUI, "Click It or Ticket" Checkpoints

On May 27 - 28, 2011, Mobile Police will be conducting a roving DUI detail in various parts of Mobile. Traffic stops will be conducted during evening hours to ensure citizen safety and that motorists are complying with state and local DUI and traffic laws.

Police will also be participating in statewide "Click It or Ticket" safety belt check on Memorial Day, Monday, May 30, 2011. Officers will set up checkpoint around the Mobile area to ensure motorists are following safety belt rules for all passengers in each vehicle.
