Mobile Police, Sheriff’s Office to Hold Annual Law Enforcement Prayer Luncheon

Jan 20th, 2015

The 17th Annual Law Enforcement Prayer Luncheon will be held Thursday, January 22, 2015 at noon in the Fellowship Hall of Cottage Hill Baptist Church, located on the corner of Cottage Hill and Demetropolis Roads.

The purpose of the luncheon, sponsored by the Chaplain's Office of the Mobile Police Department and the Mobile County Sheriff's Office, is to show prayerful community support for our law enforcement agencies. Each year, the event recognizes those who have been killed or wounded in the line of duty.

Area law enforcement agencies, including local, county, state and federal agencies, support and attend the luncheon. This year's guest speaker is Senior United States District Court Judge, the Honorable Charles R. Butler, Jr.

The program lasts for one hour, including the meal, and the public is welcome to attend, provided reservations are made by contacting the Chaplain's office at (251) 208-1930.
