Mobile Police to Hold Annual Law Enforcement Memorial Service

The annual Law Enforcement Memorial Service is scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Public Safety Park at the corner of Government and Westwood Streets in Mobile. The purpose of the event is to recognize and remember law enforcement personnel who lost their lives in the line of duty as well as retired officers who died in 2014.
This year's keynote speaker will be Robert F. Lasky, special agent in charge of the FBI's Mobile (AL) Division. Honor guards from the Mobile Police Department, Mobile County Sheriff's Office and the Saraland Police Department will be present and a 21-Gun Salute and "Taps" will also be performed.
The event is sponsored by the Mobile Police Department and Mobile County Sheriff's Office Chaplain's Office. The public is invited to attend. All inquiries should be directed to Dr. Jerry Brown, Mobile Police Chaplain at (251) 208-1930.
