Mobile Police to Swear in New Officers

March 4th, marks the end of 14 weeks of rigorous training, testing and the beginning of a new career for 23 Mobile Police and three regional officers. The graduation of the Mobile Police Academy Class #45 will be held at 2 p.m. Friday March 4, 2011 at Bishop State Community College Baker Gaines Central Campus located 1365 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue. District Attorney Ashley Rich will serve as the keynote speaker.

As the Regional Training Facility, The Mobile Police Academy also trains and certifies officers from other agencies who are seeking to meet the Alabama Peace Officers Standards of Training Commission (APOSTC) requirements. Three such officers will also participate in the graduation ceremonies.
