Jun 3rd, 2011
Chief Micheal T. Williams sat down today with Lieutenant James Fail, Jr., who is retired from the Prichard Police Department, to discuss Lt. Fail's current situation due to not receiving pension payments for 22 months.
Lt. Fail expressed his and his wife's appreciation for the Mobile Police Department's recent fundraising efforts for the Prichard Pensioners. Lt. Fail received financial assistance from those funds today to help him meet his monthly obligations and pay for day-to-day needs such as medication. Chief Williams acknowledged Lt. Fail's many years of service to the city of Prichard. He was grateful that the men and women of the Mobile Police Department joined together for such a worthy cause to raise funds for those in need, such as Lt. Fail.
