MPD Investigating Murder at Quik Pick

On Thursday, October 19, 2017 at approximately 10:15 p.m. police responded to Quik Pick located at 2311 St. Stephens Road in reference to one shot. Upon arrival, the 21-year-old victim was found shot and was transported to the hospital. A second victim, 18-year-old male, showed up at the hospital with multiple gunshot wounds, which stemmed from the same shooting. The 21-year-old victim died as a result of his injuries. The 18-year-old male underwent surgery but is expected to survive his injuries.

UPDATE: On Saturday, October 28, 2017, the listed second victim, identified as Henry Perryman (DOB 10/28/98), was released from the hospital. Perryman was arrested in connection to the shooting death of 21-year-old Carlos Peebles Jr.

Perryman has been charged with murder.
