The Mobile Police Department honors Belinda Thomason as the May 2023 Civilian Employee of the Month. Thomason works in the Fourth Precinct and serves as an office assistant. She is considered a valuable asset to the precinct.
For the past six months, Thomason has been responsible for the Officer of the Month program and has made improvements in the nomination process. Thomason has even taken upon herself to draft thank you letters to every donor of the Officer of the Month program.
Her regular daily duties include assisting the supervisors in maintaining the court logs and the daily activity sheets, and she does it exceptionally. Thomason even cleans the roll call room and breakroom when she sees them disorganized. Additionally, when the community resource officer is on traffic assignment, Thomason ensures guests are accommodated at the front lobby.
