On the evening of Tuesday, August 13, 2024, Interim Police Chief William Jackson was made aware of an arrest in Baldwin County involving one of our law enforcement officers. Sgt. Chris Reed was booked into the Baldwin County Jail Tuesday night. Reed was placed on administrative leave immediately after Interim Chief Jackson was notified of his arrest. He has been with the Mobile Police Department since 2012, most recently working in Domestic Violence. At this time, no further information is available.
