A crowd estimated at approximately 66,918 viewed tonight's parade. Numerous floats and bands entertained the spectators viewing the parade.

According to police reports there were no major incidents. Police responded to a complaint of two pedestrians struck by a city vehicle at the intersection of Washington Avenue and Government Street.

Police investigation of the incident revealed that the two pedestrians (both adults) were struck by a city van operated by a member of the barricade detail as both attempted to cross the street in front of the van which was determined to have the right of way. Both pedestrians were treated on the scene for minor injuries and were transported to Mobile Infirmary Hospital for precautionary measures.

The Mobile Police Department reported a total of 2 adult misdemeanors arrests and 1 misdemeanor juvenile arrest. 7 Uniform Traffic Tickets were issued. 11 parking tickets were issued and a total of 11 vehicles were towed. Additionally, one child was reported missing and was reunited with the responsible parent.

Traffic both to and from the parade flowed smoothly with no reports of major problems.
