POLICE INVESTIGATE A HOMICIDE ON ADMIRAL SEMMES AVENUE

On June 8, 2009 at approximately 1:00 PM officers responded the 6200 block of Admiral Semmes Avenue for a report of a domestic violence complaint in progress. Upon the officers arrival they found a female with multiple gunshot wounds and a male with an apparent gunshot wound. The female was pronounced deceased at the scene and the male was transported to USA Medical Center by Life Flight.

Homicide detectives responded to the scene to begin the investigation. Investigators have identified the female victim as thirty-seven year old Anne Claire Alger-Young, and her recently divorced husband as forty year old Paul Bryan Young Jr. as the other person with gunshot wounds.
