Police Investigate a Homicide on Arlington Street (Update #2)

On Sunday March 14, 2010 at 2:34 PM Mobile Police responded to the 1200 block of Arlington Street for a report of one shot. Upon the officer's arrival, they found 26 year old Christopher Anthino Walters with multiple gunshot wounds. Walters was transported to Mobile Infirmary where he was later pronounced dead.

The Mobile Police Homicide Detectives responded to the scene to begin the investigation. During the investigation, detectives have determined that 19 year old Lavelle Perkins is responsible for the death of Christopher Walters. Police arrested Perkins today at a residence in the 1900 block of Cardinal Drive. Lavelle Perkins has been arrested and charged with Murder.

Detectives are currently looking for additional suspects in this incident. On March 18, 2010, investigators signed warrants for Murder against the following people: 20 year old Alton Lamar Holmes, 23 year old Courtney Deangelo Morrisette, 22 year old Milton James Holmes, and a 17 year old juvenile.
