RBC BANK ROBBED

On November 26, 2008 at approximately 11:03 A.M., a black male entered the RBC Bank located at 2326 St. Stephens Road, fired two gunshots from a handgun into the ceiling, and demanded money from the location. The subject grabbed an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene. No injuries occurred during the incident.

During the investigation, officers developed leads that led to the arrest of Donald Womack (25) and Julius Womack (29) in the 2400 block of Oakleigh Drive. Donald Womack and Julius Womack were apprehended following a traffic stop. Officers were able to retrieve an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency and a handgun from the vehicle occupied by both Donald Womack and Julius Womack.

Robbery Investigators responded to the scene to conduct the investigation. Both Donald Womack and Julius Womack were charged with Federal Bank Robbery and transported to Metro Jail.
