A second arrest has been made in the Kelei Morris murder investigation. On Tuesday, March 21, 2017, Adam Tyler Miller, 26, was located in Aurora, Colorado and served with a grand jury indictment warrant for murder. Miller is in custody and will be extradited back to Mobile to face charges.
On Monday, March 20, 2017, Mobile Police arrested Steven Mason, 33, in connection to the homicide that occurred at Arlington Park Apartments on February 2, 2015. Mason is charged with murder.
On February 2, 2015, at approximately 11:30 p.m. Mobile Police responded to 7070 Grelot Road for a report of a person down. Upon arrival, police discovered the victim, 24-year-old Kelei Morris, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the head. Morris was transported to the University of South Alabama Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. On February 5, 2015, Morris died as a result of her wounds.
