SHOOTING ON WOODLAWN DRIVE

On Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at approximately 6:01 P.M., Mobile Police were dispatched to the 2000 block of Woodlawn Drive South at Garden Park Estates in reference to a report of one shot. Upon arrival, officers discovered that a black male juvenile (14) had sustained a single gunshot wound. The victim was transported to the University of South Alabama Medical Center by Mobile Fire/ Rescue Units where he is currently listed in critical condition.

Homicide Investigators responded to the scene to conduct the investigation. Further details of the case will be disseminated as they become available.
