Mobile Police need the public’s help to locate a homicide suspect. Terrence Scott Sims Jr., 19, is wanted in connection to the homicide that occurred at Laced, 3000 Springhill Ave. He has an active warrant for murder.
On Saturday, Feb. 9, 2019 at approximately 10:51 a.m., police responded to the location for a call of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers found 20-year-old Christopher Edwards inside the store shot. Edwards was transported to the hospital where he died as a result of his injury.
Sims should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on where Sims can be located is asked to call police at 251-208-7211 or send an anonymous tip at mobilepd.org/crimetip.
UPDATE: On Feb. 18, 2019, Terrence Scott Sims Jr. turned himself in to police.
