UPDATE - Mobile Police Investigate, Make Arrest on Gimon Circle Robbery

On Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at approximately 8:00 p.m., Mobile Police were dispatched to a call of shots fired at the 2000 block of Gimon Circle South. Two male victims, one of which is the homeowner, stated they invited two unknown females to the residence. After being inside for a short amount of time, an unknown male entered the residence armed with gun, with his face covered. The homeowner retrieved a gun from his bedroom closet and fired several shots at the suspect. The homeowner and the suspect were involved in a struggle, during which the homeowner was able to disarm the suspect and remove the cover from his face. The suspect and the two unknown females fled the scene.

During the investigation, Mobile Police were notified of a subject who arrived at U. S. A. Medical Center suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The suspect, who was involved in the robbery, was identified as 23 year-old Kastellio Vaughan. Investigation also revealed 19 year-old Iesha Foster had knowledge of the robbery.

Foster was arrested and charged with Robbery First Degree in relation to this case. Vaughan has an active Burglary First Degree warrant and is in custody at U. S. A. Medical recovering from the gunshot wounds. Upon release, Vaughan will be charged with Robbery First Degree.

**Vaughan has been released from the hospital and charged with Robbery First Degree.
