Mobile Police Investigate Traffic Fatality

On February 4, 2015, at approximately 12:15 a.m., Mobile Police responded to a report of one struck on Interstate 65 northbound at the Spring Hill Avenue off-ramp.

Investigation revealed a vehicle traveling northbound on Interstate 65 was exiting off the interstate when the vehicle struck a black male subject wearing dark clothing and walking in the roadway. The subject was pronounced dead on the scene. The driver of the vehicle stayed on scene and was not impaired - no citation or arrest will be made.

The pedestrian has been identified as 38 year-old Tory Terrmell McPherson of Mobile.
