UPDATE: Mobile Police Make Arrest on Homicide on Bishop Phillips Avenue

On Sunday, August 11, 2013, at approximately 12:30 a.m., Mobile Police responded to the 200 block of Bishop Phillips Avenue to investigate a report of a disorderly complaint. While en route to the call, an update was received reporting one male subject was shot.

Police arrived at Bishop Phillips Avenue and Sixth Street to find the 47 year-old male victim suffering from a single gunshot wound to the chest. Mobile Fire Rescue transported him to U.S.A. Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

The victim has been identified as Quincy James Davis of Mobile.

Investigation revealed 46 year-old Lee Patterson is the suspect in the case. On Monday, August 12, 2013, Patterson was arrested and charged with Murder.
