On Friday, February 7, 2025, at approximately 4:45 p.m., officers responded to the 2400 block of Wiley Street in reference to a death investigation. Upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim in an empty lot with a fatal gunshot injury.
The victim has been identified as Tykendrick Barnett, 22.
This remains an active investigation and no further information is available.
