With the mission to raid and incarcerate narcotics subjects in and around the Maysville community, the Mobile Police Department executed Operation April R.A.I.N.S.
On Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at approximately 10 a.m., search warrants were executed at 10 locations: 1511 Orange Street, 1567 Orange Street, 1508 Lemon Street, 1563 Lemon Street, 1511 Plover Street, 1215 Apartment A Arlington Street, 1215 Apartment B Arlington Street, 1360 Apartment B Duval Street, 1127 Preston Avenue and 1465 Barkley Drive East.
A Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) was issued at Mitchell Brothers Convenience Store, located at 1300 Arlington Street, due to the high-volume of drug activity occurring continuously at the location. The store was boarded up and padlocked.
Officers arrested 10 individuals during the warrant roundup. And, a total of seven weapons were seized.
