Police Arrest a Bank Robbery Suspect

Today at approximately 1:30 pm Mobile Police received a call for a bank robbery at the RBC Bank located 6241Cottage Hill Road. During this robbery 53 year old Pennie Taylor entered the bank, handed a teller a note, indicating she wanted $150,000.00 and new where the teller lived. Ms. Taylor was given money from the teller and then she fled the scene. Detectives were able to apprehend Ms. Taylor with information given from the scene of the crime.

Detectives went to the residence of Ms. Taylor was able to apprehend her without incident and the money from the bank was recovered. Ms. Taylor was arrested for Robbery Third Degree and transported to Metro Jail.
