Police Arrest Assault Suspect

On October 4, 2010 Mobile Police was called to the 100 block of Green Park Drive for a report of an assault. Upon the officer's arrival, they found the victim's boyfriend, who discovered his 47 year old girlfriend had been assaulted, and was unconscious. She was transported to the University of South Alabama Medical Center.

On October 13, 2010, Mobile Police Assault detectives were able to determine that 20 year old Kenneth Cedrick Gilchrist was responsible for the assault, and he was arrested today at his residence and charged with Attempt Murder, Rape First Degree, and Burglary First Degree.
