Police Arrest Man for Eight Vehicle Burglaries

At 7:18 am Mobile Police arrested Alfred Reese Jr. in reference to eight vehicle burglaries. At 6:10 am this morning, Mr. Reese was seen by several witnesses entering into a vehicle located at the Red Roof Inn located at 5450 Coca Cola Road and removed several articles. The witnesses got a good description of the subject and the vehicle he was driving and called police. Police canvass the area and were able to locate the subject in the wooded area behind a house on Noble Dr. Reese lead police on a small foot chase, but police were able to get the subject into custody without incident. At that time it was discovered that there was more stolen property in the vehicle the subject was occupying. It was also found that the vehicle was stolen from the Summer Tree Apartments located at 608 Azalea Road this morning. The property that was found was taken from several Vehicle Burglaries in the Tillman's Corner area. Reese was transported to metro jail under the following charges.

(1) Count of Receiving Stolen Property First Degree
(8) Counts of Unlawful Breaking and Entering a Vehicle
(1) Count of Obstruction of Justice
(1) Count of Possession of drug paraphernalia
(1) Count of Criminal Mischief Third Degree
3 Active Warrants with MCSO: Theft of property first degree, Theft of Property Second Degree and Unlawful Breaking and Entering a Vehicle
