Police Arrest Suspects Connected to Shooting on First Avenue and Main Street

Mobile police have arrested the three men connected to the shooting on First Avenue and Main Street that occurred after the Trinity Gardens Parade ended today. At approximately 3:25 p.m., officers responded to the scene and found three victims, bystanders, with minor gunshot wounds.

Police located the suspects running on the 2700 block of Warsaw Avenue. 19-year-olds Isaiah Kelly, Hassan Jones and Demetris Hunter have been arrested.

Officers discovered that an occupied residence was struck and two vehicles were struck during the shooting.

The charges that Kelly, Jones, and Hunter face include three counts of assault second degree, shooting into an occupied dwelling, two counts of shooting into an unoccupied vehicle, possession of marijuana second degree, reckless endangerment, and certain persons forbidden to carry a firearm.

The incident was related to an ongoing dispute where the suspects were involved in a fight at the recent Blunt and Vigor football game.
