POLICE INVESTIGATE A HOMICIDE ON GORGAS STREET (UPDATE #2)

On June 4, 2009 at approximately 4:20 AM police received a call for shots fired in the 900 Block of Gorgas Street. Upon officers arrival they discovered twenty five year old David Turner with an apparent gunshot wound. David Turner was transported to USA Medical Center by Mobile Fire Department where he was pronounced deceased.

Homicide detectives responded to the scene to begin the investigation. The preliminary investigation reveals that David Turner was at his residence when a family member discovered him with his injuries.
