Police Investigate a Traffic Fatality on Interstate 10

On April 22, 2010 at 8:40 AM, Mobile Police responded to a report of a vehicle crash on westbound I-10 at the Broad Street Exit. The preliminary investigation indicated that Johnny B. Alfred of Prichard, Alabama was operating a 2001 Chevrolet, traveling west on I-10 where he collided with a 2007 Peterbuilt 18-wheeler. Alfred left the roadway and was ejected from his vehicle.

Alfred, 42, was transported to the University South Alabama Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
